The Summer is heating up, Live Aid just celebrated it’s 41-year anniversary, another season of Tape Wars coming soon AND we’ve got live shows?
So yeah, the 80s are back in full force. Can you feel it?
Grab your walkman, because we’re hopping in the time-machine back to the 80s.
I just introduced a new show this week called Stuck at #2.
We look at popular songs that got—ummm—-stuck at #2.
Then, we compare it to the song (or songs) that blocked it from the top spot. And, of course, share which one we think deserved #1.
Here’s a sample episode—and as you’ll see, it can be a tough call between the two!

That’s right, I’m heading to New Jersey and co-hosting a live 80’s sing-along with Gotta Sing Events. This is my first live 80s co-hosting gig—so it should be a blast!

After the success of the first season—Tape Wars Season 2 is officially coming soon!
It’s the world’s first tournament pitting your favorite 80s songs against each other until one is left standing.
The first season featured #1 songs from 1985 and Everybody Wants to Rule the World defeated Don’t You (Forget About Me) in the finals (you can see the full Season 1 bracket here)
What year are we going back to for Season 2? What songs will make it into the official tournament?
