It’s the 80’s.
School is out and maybe you head to the basement. Or, you grab your bike and hit the pavement.
And for those few hours, you had the world in the palm of your hands.
Friends, independence and so endless smiles—all powered by the best music in the world.
THE SIDE B OF LIFE
I’m Ryan—born in 1972 and raised in the 80s. We’re called Gen X.
I spent my life building things, but realize I want to spend my Side B sharing music, talking about which movie was better “Back to the Future” or “The Breakfast Club”, and hanging with my tribe.
THIS IS OUR REMOTE CONTROL
I miss when MTV played music.
I miss a place that just felt cool—
I want this place—and the upcoming Ryan Lee Show—to be our Remote Control. But… dare I say… even better?
Yes, we’ll have live trivia EVERYONE can play along with in real-time (yes YOU!). That’s a given.
But we’re upping the game.
We’ll do live countdowns.
We’ll have fun face-offs pitting band against band. Movie against movie.
We’ll share stories.
And who knows… maybe even a special guest from our youth to join us for the fun.
WE AIN’T DONE YET
BTW, in case you haven’t heard—we’re not “old”.
And don’t you dare call us seniors.
We’re Gen X.
We were raised on hose water, phones (with 8 foot cords) and fold-out maps.
We grew up analog and created digital.
We can all finish the phone number 8675…
…and we’re just getting warmed-up.
We’re home.
Let’s Play,
Ryan
